Born in Pyungsan, Korea.
He graduated in Fine Art at Sorabol College.
From 1959 to 1963, he worked as a cartoonist of monthly magazines and as daily event cartoonist of ‘Daily Seoul’. He also worked as an animator for commercial films from 1960-1971.
In 1971 he naturalized in USA and worked as an animator of Animation House in San Francisco in 1972. From 1973 to 1979 he worked at DePatie-Freleng Enterprises in Los Angeles, created a light-saver of STAR WARS and animated of Pink Panther & Warner Brothers style. Also he was a Line Producer and Director of the Transformers The Movie at Marvel Production LTD. In 1985 he established AKOM Production co., and KOAA Films Inc.
Since 1995 He has worked as a Publisher & Editor-in-Chief of ANIMATOON (animation magazine).
Since 1997 he was the jury member at the international animation festivals in Canada, Czech, China, Croatia, France, Japan, Korea, Iran, Italy and Russia.
In 2005 He animated Feature Film “Empress Chung”.

In 2002 Awarded Prime Ministers Citation by Ministry of
Government Administration and Home Affairs for investment in Korea
In 2004 Awarded ‘Prize for excellence’ with “Empress Chung”

In 2005 Awarded Meritorious in Animation – Wiesbaden city by Cultural Dept. -Germany
In 2006 Awarded Ecellence and Leadership in the Creative Arts

Vice President of World Festival of Animated Films in Zagreb
Born in Zagreb, Croatia (former Yugoslavia), where she graduated in Philosophy and German Language at Zagreb University.
From 1980 to 1992 she worked at the World Festival of Animated Films in Zagreb. At ZAGREB 2000 Festival she was the Festival Co-ordinator.
She was the jury member at the international animation festivals in Portugal, Spain, USA, UK, Italy, Russia, Greece and China.
She took part in several international symposiums on animation (USA, Korea, China, Bulgaria, Greece).
Since the beginning of 2007 she has been the member of the Festival Council of the World Festival of Animated Films in Zagreb and in 2009
she got the position of the Vice President.
She serves as Secretary General of ASIFA in the fourth mandate (2009-2012).

1983 completed 3 years of graphic arts in Athens School for Technological training ATES
1998 MA: Animation: Internet applications (MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY, LONDON)
2001 Doctor of Aesthetics in Animation and Virtual Reality Environment (MIDDLESEX UNIVERSITY, LONDON).
Since 1985 – 1995 she worked as an animator, art director and line-producer for several animation production companies.
1995 Established in Athens a production company named SIMIO TV PRODUCTIONS
-Co production/script : “CARTOONIA” 39 EPISODES for Greek television.
-TV SPOTS 20X1´ “DRIVE CARE” (Computer Animation)
– Lucas and the Runt (pilot 1’) animation series, supported by media program.
Since 2002- present Teaching Animation in The University of The Aegean
She was the jury member at the international animation festivals in Japan, Serbia, Korea, Russia and Greece.
She took part in several international symposiums on animation (Russia, China, Japan and Greece).
She wrote books about
