The Holland Animation Festival will take place in Utrecht between November 13th and 17th November 2002. ENTRY DEADLINE IS 1ST AUGUST 2002. In his interview the Festival Director Gerben Schermer (foto) talks about his conception of the event, the programme, special events, etc.... The Holland Animation Festival offers besides its tradition Competition for Applied Animation now also a Competition for International Independant Animation. This competition has two section: for narrative and non-narrative films; all artists in this competition are invited for hotel and meals. Further on Gerben tells us more about a special Japanese programme with works between animation and avantgarde. Also a special tribute to Monique Renault, professional seminars for Dutch artists and much more will happen this year. Listen. The question were put by Thomas Renoldner.
